Daytona Recap

Mooresville, NC – February 29th, 2017 – Rugged Cross Blinds and Waterfront Services, Inc. opened the season with Bolen Motorsports and the No. 66 Chevrolet for speedweeks in Daytona Beach, Fl. Entering just their second full time season in the NASCAR Camping World Truck series, the team enlisted driver Ross Chastain to pilot the effort. This would be the second time Ross was behind the wheel for the team looking to best his finish of 15th at Talladega in the fall of last year. The team showed good single car speed and worked even better drafting speeds during the initial practice sessions for the weekend. Ross would roll off 26th for the Nextera Energy 250. The high expectations and quality effort would be short lived as Ross was caught up in a multi car accident on Lap 2 of the event creating unrepairable damage and ending the day for the team.
